I spent so many years only knowing God through others’ eyes and never knowing Him through His Word. That would only happen through a series of life events that would bring me to a place of either seeking God for answers or giving up entirely on my faith.

I remember crying and praying, one of my most desperate prayers ever. I even went as far as to tell God I’d give Him one more chance to prove Himself. That sounds wild, I know, for me to say to the God of the universe that I, the biggest sinner yet, would give Him one more chance. But those are the words I prayed as I reached for the Bible that decorated my bedside table. It was then that I fell madly in love with God and His Word, for it would forever change me. He has planted a deep-seated fire inside me to tell others that the Word of God can change them, too.

Through this blog, I want to offer encouragement and inspiration to help others develop disciplines that will strengthen or even create their daily walk with the Lord. I will share what I have and am currently learning as I walk through this life with Jesus and study His Word. I pray as you read these articles that you, too, will fall madly in love with Him.
